Responsibilities
As a Medior or Senior AI Software Engineer, you help build the core of our sovereign AI platform. You develop production-grade backend software where AI functionality is deeply embedded in business processes and user workflows. You work on a multi-tenant platform that must meet high standards for security, reliability, and explainability, operating in regulated environments. Beyond implementation, you actively contribute to architectural decisions, collaborate closely with fellow engineers and the technical architect, and take ownership of the quality and robustness of the solutions you deliver.
Requirements
You have a solid background in software engineering, with strong experience in backend development using Python. You are comfortable designing and running production systems and understand the importance of predictable behavior, error handling, and operational stability. You have affinity with AI-driven software and experience—or strong interest—in integrating LLM functionality into applications. Depending on your seniority, you bring several years of relevant experience and are able to clearly explain and defend technical decisions within a team. You take responsibility, think in solutions, and enjoy working in a focused, growing engineering environment. You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

Technical Architect AI
Job Description
You’ll join a small, ambitious, and highly technical team where ownership is real—not just a buzzword. We work closely together from our office in Leusden, with short feedback loops and a strong preference for hands-on collaboration.
Responsibilities
Designing and evolving the core platform architecture
Actively contributing code to backend services, AI pipelines, and infrastructure components
Making architectural decisions around Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native patterns
Designing secure and compliant AI workflows within a sovereign cloud environment
Reviewing and improving existing implementations for reliability, performance, and maintainability
Working closely with engineers, external development teams, and consultants to translate architectural principles into working software
Explaining and defending technical decisions—internally and occasionally to customers
This role requires you to move comfortably between whiteboard discussions and production code.
Requirements
You are a technically strong engineer who has grown into an architectural role and still enjoys building.
You bring:
Several years of experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or architect
Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-native systems
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern backend architectures
Affinity with AI systems, ML pipelines, or AI-enabled platforms (hands-on experience is a strong plus)
Solid understanding of multi-tenant architectures, data separation, and security
Experience working with open-source technologies
The ability to make pragmatic technical decisions and take ownership of outcomes
Strong communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts clearly
Fluency in Dutch and English
